Lampu Suluh

Di satu lorong yang panjang,
Ada seorang gadis.
Dia sedang melalui satu lorong yang panjang.

Dia hanya bergantung kepada lampu suluh
Yang berada di tangan kanannya.
Dia berjalan perlahan-lahan,
Sentiasa berhati-hati untuk mengambil setapak langkah.

Sudah separuh perjalanan yang dia ambil,
Lampu suluhnya yang menjadi penyuluh jalannya yang gelap
Tiba-tiba terpadam.
Dia panik.

Gelap.
Kiri kanan semuanya gelap.
Pandangannya gelap.
Dia tidak tahu bagaiman harus dia melangkah tanpa lampu suluhnya.
Dia cuba memperbaiki lampu suluhnya di dalam gelap.
Dia ketuk-ketuk, tapi masih tidak berfungsi.

Dia seakan ‘hilang’ arah tujuannya,
Dia meraba di dalam kepekatan malam itu.
Dia sudah semakin berputus asa.
Lama dia berteleku, dia tidak tahu bagaiman harus meneruskan perjalanannya.

Kunang-kunang.
Beberapa ekor beterbangan di depannya.
Dia mengekori si kunang-kunang.
Sampai akhirnya…..
Dia terpandang cahaya.

Ya, ada cahaya.
Tapi bukan dari lampu suluhnya itu,
Ia cahaya yang lebih terang dari itu.

Dia mendongak ke langit yang terbentang luas,
Bintang-bintang bertaburan
Bulan bulat mengambang penuh.

Cahaya itu yang membantunya keluar dari lorong yang gelap
Dan akhirnya dia menemui jalan pulang.
